Bread Machine Peanut Butter & Banana Bread

• Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 1 Loaf

• 1 (¼ ounce) package yeast
• 2 ½ cups bread flour
• ½ cup wheat flour
• 3 tablespoons gluten
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar , packed
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 large banana
• ¾ cup peanut butter
• 1 egg
• 1 cup water , very warm

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients into pan in the order listed.
2. Select white bread setting and press "Start".

I was expecting a sweeter tasting bread, but it just tasted like bread with a little smell of peanuts. My DH and I both thought it was awful, but my 5 and 3 yr. olds ate it! I didn't use any gluten and I reversed the order of ingredients in the pan.

This was really great! I am always looking for something easy that has little or no sugar for a snack for my son. I used 1 overripe banana I had in my freezer. It worked just fine and my son loved it!
