Campari is an alcoholic aperitif obtained from the infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. It is a type of bitters. Regular Campari has an astringent, bittersweet flavor, but a sweet Campari is also available.
- 1 1⁄2 ounces gin
- 1⁄2 ounce campari
- 4 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice, chilled
- Pour in campari, gin and grapefruit juice into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
