- 2 (907.18 g) can black beans
- 4 clove garlic, minced
- 9.85 ml ground cumin
- 44.37 ml olive oil
- 236.59 ml chicken broth
- 7.39 ml sea salt
- 44.37 ml chopped cilantro (optional)
directions
- Drain and rinse black beans.
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and saute garlic and cumin until fragrant.
- Add black beans, broth and salt.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, stirring frequently until beans are heated through.
- OR, after sauteeing the garlic and cumin, you can place everything in a crockpot on low heat for a couple of hours.
- If desired, stir in the cilantro just prior to serving.

Yummy! I made these beans tonight but only for 2 servings. Used 1 can of beans, a generous tsp of cumin, 1/2 c of broth and a generous tsp of garlic. No sea salt so used regular salt, but sprinkled it on. No measuring there:) Omitted the cilantro but these beans were great as is! Thanks for an EASY recipe!
