Bit O' Honey Candies

"One of my favorite candy bars when I was little, and still today! These are nice cut into bite-sized pieces, then wrapped. A lot easier to eat!"

  1. THis was a sad disaster. It didnt set up much at all, and it tasted NOTHING like bit o honey. I was sad to have wasted that much honey... However, I think I will use the gooy result as an experiment: fresh diced apples in this (we dip apples in peanut butter, right?) in a waffle cone (or if I can figure out how to get them, a waffle cone shaped as a taco....)

  2. This 'candy' has only a hint of the Bit O' Honey taste. The texture is horrible, and even after kneading, it does not get firm. I will not be making this particular recipe again.

  3. These were good. I never had a Bit O'Honey before so can't really say if they tasted like one or not. They were soft and sweet. I followed the directions exactly only after rolling them out onto the wax paper I rolled them into balls. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Tasted marginally like bit o'honey, but the texture was horrible. I made them exactly as the recipe stated.

  5. I love this! I've made this many many times and my family too enjoys it as much as I do. It's a keeper !!
