Bedrock Bars

  • 13 ounces Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 10 ounces marshmallows
  • 14 cup butter
  • Pam cooking spray

directions

  • In large microwaveable bowl, melt butter.
  • Spray 9x13 pan with Pam.
  • Add marshmallows to bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave additional 30 seconds if marshmallows haven't completely melted.
  • Pour cereal into bowl. Mix well to make sure marshmallows and cereal are thoroughly combined.
  • Spread cereal mixture evenly into baking pan. Let stand for a few hours/overnight to allow bars to firm up. Cut into squares.

  5. My daughter and I just made these last week. They are very good, but much sweeter than Rice Krispie Treats because Fruity Pebbles are pre-sweetened. Because they're so sweet, we cut them into small portions. Everyone in the family enjoyed them and they are a nice change from the Rice Krispie treats...more colorful, too. Thanks for posting!
