  1. Combine basil, oil, red pepper, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Remove husks from corn.
  3. Place each ear of corn on a piece of heavy foil.
  4. Brush ears with mixture.
  5. Wrap corn in the foil.
  6. Place corn on the grill rack directly over medium coals. Grill uncovered about 20 minutes/until kernels are tender, turning frequently.

This was very good.Can vary the red pepper flakes to increase or decrease the spicy taste.One and a half teaspoon is perfect for me.Thanks

Delicious; Dh raved. Had to double the amount of oil to get the mixture thin enough to brush on. I'll try fresh, chopped basil next time and might not need the extra oil.
