I combined a few favorite flavors into this banana bread and it is a hit with our family and friends.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Grease 3 loaf pans.
  3. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add bananas, milk and almond extract. Mix to combine. Add 3 cups of flour, stir. Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nuts. Add remaining flour.
  4. Divide into 3 loaf pans. Let rise 15 minutes.
  5. Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted tests clean.

What a lovely tea bread this is. We loved this banana bread. It was flavorful, moist and tender. Made exactly as written, omitting the nuts, because of my husband's allergy. I found the addition of the almond extract to be very nice. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe. Made for Fall Pac/12

We do like banana bread around here, & I'm always willing to try out new versions on family & friends! Made the recipe as given, using sliced almonds along with a generous measure of cinnamon! The bread was delicious, & I emphasize the 'was' since the loaf we had was gone within 36 hours! How quickly a neighbor couple & my son & his wife finished of theirs, I don't know, but I did get raves back from them! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!
