Some like them slushy!
- 1 ounce Malibu rum
- 1 1⁄2 ounces gold tequila
- 4 ounces margarita mix (any flavor)
- Combine ingredients in blender and mix.
- Add ice to thicken.
The malibu rum adds just a hint of coconut to this very yummy margarita. I did mine on the rocks after reading racrgal's comments. This was a nice change from our standard tequila/margarita mix combination.
Prepared for My-3-Chefs 2008 A delicious margarita that can be quite dangerous! I used equal amounts of the rum and tequila for a more tropical flavor. I blended the first one per instructions. The second one was on the rocks. I prefered on the rocks. The glass was rimmed with lime ruice and powdered sugar. An excellent margarita for any occasion.
