Bacon and Cream-Topped Tomatoes

- 4 slices bacon
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 4 medium tomatoes
- salt and pepper, to taste
directions
- In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel.
- Reserve drippings in pan.
- In a small bowl, crumble bacon; blend with sour cream.
- Cut off ends of tomatoes and cut tomatoes in half.
- Saute cut side of tomatoes in bacon drippings; turn over.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Top with sour cream mixture.
- Cover; cook 2 minutes or until heated through.
