A girlfriend sent this recipe during a swap. I made it for an open house and received rave reviews. This is the most awesome chicken buffalo dip ever!
- 1 (5 ounce) can chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 ounce ranch dip mix
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 5 ounces hot sauce
- Allow the cream cheese to warm to room temperature
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Serve with crackers or chips.
This is a really good and really easy dip to make. I didn't add as much hot sauce as the recipe calls for, as I wanted my daughters to be able to eat it. I added 2 teaspoons of chili powder to add extra flavor without the "heat" of the hot sauce. Great recipe!
I made this for a surprise birthday party on Saturday and got great compliments on it. Because we had quite a few people invited to the party, I doubled the cream cheese and sour cream and used about a cup of hot sauce. I didn't have a can of chicken, so I used some finely shredded chicken that I had in the freezer and had thawed. I will definitely be making this again!
