Zippy dressing for salads, veggies, fish and meat.
- 3⁄4 cup buttermilk
- 1 small jalapeno (seeds or not, your choice)
- 1⁄4 cup cilantro
- 1 avocado
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons scallions, chopped
- 1 lime, juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon kosher salt
- Start with 2/3's of the buttermilk and add everything else to your blender. Give it a whirl.
- Adjust thickness with more or less buttermilk.
