An interesting yet harmonious flavour combination.
- 1⁄4 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1⁄2 apple, cubed
- 1⁄4 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon basil, chopped
- 1 dash lime juice
- Combine sauekraut, celery, apple, and pepper in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix vinegar, parsley, basil and lime juice; drizzle over salad.
- Serve chilled.
