  • In a 2 quart saucepan combine the first 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  • Stir in brandy and sugar, cook until dissolved.
  • Remove cinnamon stick before serving. You can also put this in the blender before serving if desired.

  1. This recipe makes a nice tasting soup! I used Rome Beauty apples along with golden raisins & some apple brandy! Then, instead of the blender, I slightly mashed the apples with a potato masher so that it was somewhat chunky! [Tagged, made & reviewed as part of my RAISIN theme in My-3-Chefs]
