Said to settle both the stomach and the mind.
- 3⁄4 ounce brandy
- 3⁄4 ounce dry vermouth
- 3⁄4 ounce orange juice
- 1⁄4 ounce white creme de menthe or 1⁄4 ounce peppermint schnapps
- 1 dash grenadine
- 1 ounce port wine
- Shake all the ingredients except the port with crushed ice.
- Strain into an old fashioned or cocktail glass.
- Tilt the glass and slowly add the port so it floats on top.
