Growing up my mother used to make this all the time. Especially festive for the holidays and for St Patrick's Day.
- 4 pints lime sherbet
- 7 (12 ounce) cans 7-Up soda, chilled
- Spoon 3 pints sherbet into a large punch bowl. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.
- Slowly pour in chilled 7-Up stirring slightly.
- Float remaining sherbet on top and serve.
