  • cream butter and sugar add eggs.
  • add vanilla bean
  • add flour and ground almonds
  • quickly knead pastry dough
  • divide dough in 5 parts
  • roll out
  • bake 4 or 5 thin round layers in a baking pan in turns
  • the layers should not be browned to much
  • but should be slightly golden
  • im guessin 375 for 10 minutes
  • filling
  • add sugar to egg whites cream until fluffy.
  • add sieved jam fold in
  • icing beat together everything but almonds
  • spread filling thinly betweeen layers
  • cover with icing
  • decorate with rosettes made from almond halves
  • best made 4 days in advance , so it matures and becomes crubly as hapiness.
