Maple Snow

"This may seem silly to post this recipe (if you can call it a recipe), but this treat is one of my favorite winter memories as a kid. You can make this with your kids and if they like maple syrup, they'll love this!"

  1. We used to eat this all the time as a kid too! And actually I just made this for my husband the other day who had never had it rofl! We actually use flavor syrups though usually for a variety of flavors. Its like a snow cone only the REAL thing!

  2. This is so fun, so yummy and a cool thing to do with your children. That's what my DD1 (5 years old) says. I agree and also DD2 (15 months) liked eating it as well. We used icy snow because that is what was outside. On top we poured the yummiest, Alska brand amber maple syrup which is organic. We will do this again!!

  3. My favorite thing to make with my nieces when there is snow! One thing we do differently is add milk to make a maple snow milk shake. It's really delicious actually! Try it with milk or cream even, it truly makes a difference!

  4. We had an unusual 3" of snow in the Puget Sound area, giving us a SNOW DAY!!! I immediately thought of this, and had my boys try it. They loved it! Thanks for posting, Sarah in New York! This will be a new tradition for us everytime it snows!
