"zippy" Italian Dressing

"Great Italian dressing that I combined for a antipasti salad. The cayenne pepper gives it a kick. My family loves it!"

• Yields: 1 1/3 cups
• Serves: 4-6

ingredients

• 1 cup olive oil
• 1⁄3 cup white wine vinegar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
• 1⁄4 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon jarred pesto sauce
• 1⁄2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
• 1 tablespoon shredded parmesan cheese
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 garlic clove, minced

directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a jar with a lid; cover and shake to mix thoroughly.
2. Let stand at least 2 hours to blend seasonings.
3. Shake well before using.
4. Great for lettuce salad, antipasti and for a chicken marinade.
