Weight Watchers Smothered Chicken

"Found this recipe on recipegoldmine.com Haven't tried it yet, but says it is only 4 pts per serving. The time I have included on this is just an estimate."

  • Salt and pepper chicken.
  • Put flour in a medium-size bag and add pieces of chicken. Close the open end of the bag and shake. Flour will be evenly distributed on the meat.
  • Heat oil in skillet. Place floured chicken in oil and brown on both sides. Add mushrooms and broth.
  • Cover tightly with lid and simmer until meat is tender. Add additional water or broth if necessary.

  2. I browned each side for ~5 minutes & then added the stock & mushrooms to cook for another 10 minutes. This was so very good and proved to be a quick meal to make. We paired it with salad & a side.
