Weekend Cookers Famous Baked Beans

"I have had this recipe for some time. I usually take this to my kids school functions, and neighbors. What makes this recipe great is the liquid smoke, that adds great flavor to this. Great for leftovers the next day too."

  1. We really enjoyed these baked beans for dinner tonight. Didn't change a thing -- sooo easy to make. Will definitely make these beans again -- they will be perfect for a Church potluck or BBQ outing or of course, another dinner at home : ). Made for PRMR, March, 2014.

  2. We loved these sweet, smokey baked beans. When I originally looked at the ingredient list, I thought that 2 TBSP. of liquid smoke seemed like an awful lot. I went ahead and made the recipe as written, and am I ever glad that I did. The smoke flavor was perfect and really added a lot of flavor to this recipe. I loved the ease of preparation, with ingredients that I always have on hand. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe...it is definitely a keeper!!<br/>**Made for 2012 Football Pool**
