Walnut Honey Cream Cheese Spread

"We had this at work from big apple bagels. This is me trying to copy it."

• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 8 tablespoons ground walnuts
• 4 tablespoons honey
• 8 ounces cream cheese

directions

1. Blend all together.
2. Chill.

I really liked this but felt for me, I would like the crunch of the walnuts. So after making it, I added some in. I did cut the recipe in half, and fast it was all gone! I know one thing, it makes you not want plain cream cheese on your bagels again. Thank you Dienia! Made for ZWT3 by a fellow Floozie- Remembering Amy!

Very tasty, this reminds me of one of my fave spreads, from a bagel place no longer in business here. I did reduce this by half, for my rather small household. Really, very good! DH was very generous with his on a bagel, but, I've used it on a cinnamon swirl bread, with great results also! Thanks for a sharing a keeper of a recipe, Dienia B.!

Yummy and versatile! I made this up to put on my apple while watching TV but ended up making a really yummy sandwich using a hearty whole grain bread, apple and this tasty spread mmm mmm mmm. I made this as written and cannot wait to try it on my morning bagel. Thanks for the post.

LOL, I didn't even bother to read the directions. It never occured to me that they would be blended!. I just softened the cheese a bit, squirted in some honey chopped a few walnuts and added a few drops of vanilla. Yummm! I used some to dress up one of this mornings scones.
