"This is a great refreshing summertime alcoholic beverage; it goes down smoothly. The recipe is off the bottle of McGillicuddy's French Kiss vanilla liqueur. You can also wet the rim of the glass and coat with graham cracker crumbs."

- 2 ounces vanilla liqueur
- 10 ounces carbonated lemon-lime beverage (I like 7-Up)
- cream
- lime juice
- lime wedge, for garnish
directions
- Mix liqueur, soda, lemon juice and a splash of cream in a 14oz glass.
- Garnish with lime wedge and enjoy.

I didn't want to give this a star rating, just a review. I was inspired by this drink but because I couldn't find vanilla liqueur I couldn't make it exactly as the directions stated. We used Vanilla Vodka instead. It was pretty good. I actually liked it best with just vanilla vodka, 7up and a lime garnish. Tasted like a creamcicle! Thanks for the inspiration. If I ever find vanilla liqueur I'll try making it again :-)

Welcome! I joined this website in 2001, as a new wife and Mom of a 1 y/o and I was 28 yrs old and did not know about cooking.
