  1. Followed your recipe right on down & we had one of the tastiest, most flavorful cereals ever! Definitely something to make again around here, once we finish off what I made! This is certainly a keeper of a recipe! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed in Healthy Choices ABC recipe tag]

  2. My family and I just love this! I have been unsatisfied with the store bought cereals as they either have too much sugar or sodium. So I decided the only way to control that would be to make my own. I did add some All Bran and I also added sunflower seeds as they were already mixed in with my walnuts. And I decided to increase the wet ingredients to compensate for the added All Bran and seeds. It is a filling and healthy way to start my day. I am happy that it isn’t too sweet. Thanks for the fantastic recipe! My Hubby wants me to make it all the time now, he calls it “Home girl cereal! (I’m a homemaker)

  3. This is pretty good. I like the flavor of the barley. I used dried bananas, currants, and cranberries, and a mixture of chopped almonds and walnuts. I'd prefer it to be chunkier, though -- maybe using more honey and less maple syrup? A bit too strong-flavored for me (almost overpowering sweetness and vanilla flavor).
