  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl, sift the flour, then add the butter & rub it in using your fingertips. When mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs, stir in the GROUND almonds & brown sugar, then set aside.
  • Peel & core the apples & pears, then cut them into thin slices & place in a baking dish.
  • Cut the plums in half & remove the pit before adding them to the other fruit. Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the fruit.
  • Top evenly with the flour mixture, but DO NOT PRESS DOWN ON IT!
  • Bake for 25 minutes, then remove from the oven & sprinkle the SLIVERED almonds over the top of the crumble & return it to the oven to bake another 10-15 minutes or until golden & crisp in places.
  • Serve hot with cream or a sauce OR ice cream & ENJOY!
