  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef.
  • Drain and return to skillet.
  • Add taco seasoning and water.
  • Stir until water is absorbed, about 5 minutes; add salsa, mixing well.
  • With cooking spray, coat a 8 x 11-inch dish.
  • Spread half of potatoes evenly over bottom of dish.
  • Then spread half of ground beef mixture over potatoes.
  • Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  • Repeat layers ending with cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F for about 25 to 30, or until cheese is a nice golden brown.

  1. Very good, but somewhat dry (we add a side of salsa). I have made this twice and passed on once. I think it would make for a good breakfast burrito (just add scrambledd eggs). All and all I will make again.
