Sweet Potato & Bacon Dog Biscuits

- 1 1⁄2 cups flour (wheat or white)
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1⁄4 cup cooked bacon
- 1 cup pureed sweet potato
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 eggs
directions
- Wash, peel, and chop 1 small sweet potato. Place in a pot with a bit of salted water to boil. Cook until soft. Remove from heat, drain, mash or use a hand blender to puree.
- Pulse 1 cup of oatmeal or quick oats until it becomes a fine flour.
- Put cooked bacon or premade bacon bits into a food processor and pulse till fine crumbs (no chunks).
- In a medium bowl combine wet ingredients, salt and bacon.
- Mix in flours and stir till blended in You may need to mix with your hands to get it all incorporated well.
- Turn out onto a floured board and roll out to 1/4 - 1/2" thickness. Cut out into desired shapes and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. For crispier cookies poke holes with the end of a chopstick or toothpick depending on size of cookie.
- Bake in a 350 oven for 20 minutes.
