  • Place cabbage and 2 cups water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until crisp tender. Drain; set maside. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp. Drain bacon on paper towels, reserving 1 tbls. drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon; set aside.
  • Add brown sugar and flour to drippings in skillet; stir until smooth. Gradually add vinegar and 1/3 cup water, stirring until smooth. Add onion and remaining ingredients; cook 5 minutes or until slightly thickened; stirring frequently. Stir in cabbage and bacon. Cool.
