DIRECTIONS

  • • Scrub and slice the potato about 5 mm thick.
  • • Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  • • In a wok, combine the milk, butter, flour, salt and pepper over low heat whisking continuously until the sauce thickens. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • • Remove from heat; stir in cheese until melted. Add the potatoes, onions and garlic and mix.
  • • Transfer to an oiled baking dish. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 175°C.
  • • Uncover and bake for 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  • • Top with additional pepper.
