- 2 cups curds
- 1 cup cumin powder
- 1 cup salt
- 1 sprig mint leaf
- 1 sprig coriander leaves
- 3 curry leaves
- 1⁄2 inch ginger
- 1 green chili
- 1 cup oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 -3 curry leaves
directions
- Beat the curds after adding water for a thin consistency.
- Add the ground masala.
- Add cumin powder and salt and mix very well.
- Strain through a thick sieve.
- Heat oil in a ladle.
- Add mustard seed.
- Add curry leaves when mustard seeds splutter.
- Add to the buttermilk.
- Serve the buttermilk cold. Add seasoning just before serving this cooling and antioxidant filled drink.
