Simple Cathedral Windows

"This is a more simple version of a traditional recipe, there are probably many variations out there. I think this one may have a few less calories, but the pros here should know. SIMPLE because the measurements are the same, & because there can be as few or as many of these ingredients in what ever combination you choose. When stirring I recomend a strong spoon. I also find it easier to have the wax paper ready to go in advance with extra room around it to work. If you choose to add extract remember to pair it well with your other choice ingredients, & usually less is more here. I like milk choc & crushed peppermints with a cup of hot coco! Other examples: nuts with a few drops of vanilla extract with tea or candied cherries, white marshmallows, dark chocolate with wine or a coke for those who preferre. Mom taught us this recipe apx 30 years ago, we have always enjoyed it, it has been very handy to make in advance, hope you enjoy!!"
