Savoury Sweet Potato Sticks

"I found this recipe on the back of the Rice Krispies box. It sounded so declicious, another way to enjoy sweet potatoes!!"

  • Wash sweet potatoes (or peel if desired). Cut lengthwise into 2-inch slices. Cut slices into 1/2 inch sticks.
  • In large plate or shallow pan, mix together crushed cereal and seasonings. Place flour on a second plate. In medium bowl, beat egg whites and water.
  • Coat potates with flour, shaking off excess. Next dip in egg mixture, then coat with cereal mixture. Place in a single layer on foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  • Bake at 400F about 25 minutes or until lightly browned and tender when tested with a sharp knife. Serve hot with salsa or roasted garlic mayonnaise if desired,.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
