1. This was a nice side to our pork Roast. I added more sage. Used a combination of apples 4 Granny`s and 4 Golden. I can see this being served with potatoe pancakes!

 2. Mmmmm, what a great applesauce recipe! It is easy to prepare and tastes very yummy! First all you taste it applesauce and honey sweetness and then there is this little special something, which must come from the sage. Just delish! :) I made half the recipe for a friend's bday and got exactly one big glass full to give to her. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this super recipe with us, ellie_! I will definitely make it again! Made and reviewed for Veggie Swap #20 March 2010 and the Special Meals Event in the Photo Forum.

I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!
