ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup water
• 1⁄2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 4 cups milk
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract

directions

1. Simmer water, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a pan over moderate heat stirring, until lumps are dissolved.(3-4 mins).
2. Add milk to the pan.
3. Stir and slowly bring to simmer.(5-6 mins).
4. To enhance flavor, stir in vanilla just before serving.
