- eye of round roast
- garlic salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)

- Preheat oven to 500 degrees Season Eye of Round with pepper and garlic salt.
- Place in roasting pan Cook as follows depending on doneness desired: 3 minutes per pound for rare; 4 minutes per pound for medium; 5 minutes per pound for well done Turn oven off, but leave the roast inside for 2 hours.
- Roast will cook as oven cools.
- Serve as main dish or slice and serve on crusty sandwich rolls with cheese and au juice from the bottom of the roasting pan for dipping.
