Quickie Amarula Truffles

"Quickie = work time, not chill time. Cook time equals chill time. I was looking around for a way to use up the last of a box of oreo cookie crumbles and found the recipe Kahlua Balls by user Dallas and Rina. Well, my boyfriend doesn't like coffee, so that was nixed, I don't like nuts in my candies, so those were out, and the powedered sugar was too sweet for a coating, aaand I had more oreos than it called for, soooo, rather than do an injustice to the OP, we ended up with this recipe instead..."

• Ingredients: 5
• Yields: 20 truffles

ingredients

• 3 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1⁄3 cup Amarula cream liqueur
• 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
• cocoa powder, for coating

directions

1. Mix all ingredients into a large bowl.
2. Roll into one inch balls.
3. Coat with cocoa powder.
4. Chill for several hours or over night.
