My Mother used to make this in the 1960's. She used bone in pork chops but she made it a lot easier. She'd butter bottom of Pyrex, layer thinly sliced potatoes, then onions, s & p, then pork chops not browned, then repeat with potatoes and onions, s & p. Then she'd pour 2-3 cans of evaporated milk to cover potatoes. Cover and bake. It was delicious and full of flavor. I make it the same but I use boneless pork loin chops and sprinkle some thyme. Yummy!!!
