Very tasty. We liked the shredded potato crust as a nice change. I guessed on how long to parboil potatoes, I brought them to a boil, covered pot & shut off burner; that seemed to be enough. I added a small minced garlic clove to the onions. For the cheese, I cut back about 4 oz; used mostly cheddar with a couple oz of feta seeing as how the recipe didn't call for salt. We enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.

I've been cooking and baking for my family since I was about twelve years old. Now that I have a family of my own, I want to make sure my kids have a much bigger head start than that, so we spend a lot of our weekends cooking together. Cooking together is a great way to learn/teach math, nutrition, patience, and ingenuity. Throw on a great cd - Marilyn Manson or Ella Fitzgerald - and you've got quality family time. What could be better?
