1. I attended Mt Joy Mennonite Church as a kid, so I was excited to find this recipe! (What a great cookbook!) Turns out that this was exactly what I remember eating as a kid. Yummy! I made a few adjustments. I used 12 pieces of bread and still felt that it didn't quite fill a 9x13 pan. Would adjust recipe on to 1.5 casseroles
 2. Made this as a test run for easter dinner this year. Scaled it down to serve two people just for tonight. I used whole wheat sandwhich bread that I "staled" in the oven for a few minutes at 350 degress F.This dressing is VERY filling but very tasty. Can't wait until easter dinner now so I can have it again!
 3. Sounds fab~ I added it to my cookbook. TY for sharing.
 4. Great stuff and super easy! I made this with recipe #126492 Strawberry Glazed Ham and it was wonderful!
 5. Simply delicious! I used whole wheat bread and served this with Easter ham. I can imagine serving it as brunch item, as it reminded me of a cross between French toast and pineapple upside down cake.

I love to cook, but don't have a lot of time to do it, since I work full time. I like to try a new recipe every Saturday, if time allows.

I have one grown son and three grandaughters ages 16,10 and 3. The ten year old has won many medals in gymnastics meets over the past few years.
