- 35 saltine crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
directions
- Place crackers on foil lined baking pan.
- Melt butter and sugar in saucepan, heat until boiling. Boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Spread over crackers and bake @ 400 for 7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Let stand for 5 minutes and then spread the melted chocolate chips.
- Cool and break into pieces.
- You could add pieces of Andes Mints on top of chocolate before it cools, to give it a minty flavor.
