Picadilla Sauce

"Great almond and garlic sauce."

• Ingredients: 7
• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup almonds
• 4 garlic cloves
• 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 4 teaspoons lemon juice
• 4 teaspoons white vinegar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
• ground pepper

directions

1. combine ingredients in food processor.

Made your recipe pretty much as given, although I did use lemon pepper instead of the regular stuff! Used the sauce to jazz up a a couple of servings of a brown rice & pea combo, & it was delicious! Wonderful recipe! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in this Spring's round of Pick A Chef]
