Oven French Toast

"A make ahead breakfast dish. Very easy and very simple. Tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen. We like to serve this with poached eggs and sausage for a great weekend breakfast treat."

  1. very good! Easy great make ahead dish!

  2. I used cinnamon raisin bread - it was a huge hit!

  3. Really tasty, I got a lot of good reviews when I made this! Only concern: the top was a bit dry. I think next time I will increase slightly the liquids in this.

  4. Easy to do but I found it a little lacking on taste. It does need some jam or berries added in my opinion. With a little tweeking this could be a great recipe!!

  5. I made this for Christmas breakfast for my parents and my family. I figured the kids would LOVE it since they will eat cream cheese right out of the wrapper; however, they were not that excited about it. The adults really liked it though. Next time I make it, I think I might add some fruit preserves to the middle layer with the cream cheese. See if that gets the kiddies attention...
