Orange Cranberry Applesauce Pork Chops

- 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 12 ounces applesauce
- 1 orange, zest of
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1⁄2 tablespoon clove
- 2 -3 dashes ginger
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 -6 pork chops
directions
- In a small saucepan combine everything but the butter and the pork chops. Mix well and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes, until everything is bubbling and well-combined. Melt the butter in a frying pan and sear each side of the pork chops until they are browned. Turn the heat down to med-low and pour the hot cranberry apple mix on top of the pork chops. Cover and let simmer for about 15-20 minute until pork chops are thoroughly cooked, but nice and tender. Serve and enjoy!
