- 2 ounces butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 4 teaspoons cocoa
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla essence

- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons cocoa
- 2 cups hot boiled water
directions
- cream butter and sugar (just using wooden spoon).
- add egg.
- mix well.
- fold in sifted flour and cocoa alternately with milk and vanilla/.
- top with mixed cocoa and sugar.
- gently pour hot water over ingredients.
- bake in moderate oven for 30-40 minutes.

I live in South Australia approximately 3 hours SE of Adelaide on a farm. We grow a variety of crops such as wheat, barley and canola, just to name a few.
