  1. Talk about a melt in your mouth cake! This is one cake that did not stay around for me nibble on all day. It's one of those desserts that you can take to a family reunion and everyone will want the recipe.

  4. Great & easy recipe. It was delish! I cut back to 3/4 c of oil, added a little more Dew, and 3 eggs. It turned out really moist. Thanks so much for sharing.

  5. I haven't personally made this yet, but I definitely will. My daughter made this for a family function (she got the recipe here). It was the most popular dessert there, and there were a bunch! Thanks for an awesome cake recipe.

Tweaks

  1. I made this for my BF over the holidays since he loves Mountain Dew pop. Not only did he love it, but my whole family did as well. I'm going to make another one for New Years Day. I used coconut instead of nuts, & I'm glad I did. This was a pretty layer cake, but I'm going to try to make it in a 9x13 pan next time just to make it even easier. Easy, moist, & tasty...thanks for sharing!
