    Hi can anyone tell me how long will my flowers last for, that i made using this royal icing with meringue powder recipe? I don't need them for 3 weeks ,but wanted to make them in advance. How should I store them also?

    It may just be me, but I didn't like the flavor from the meringue powder at all. I used this to frost some ghost cookies for Halloween, then switched to another recipe after tasting it. I may save the rest and try it for assembling a gingerbread house. It does look fine and whips us nicely. Susan

    Very simple, and so effective. This is one of the oh so many items I used for my daughter's first birthday cake. This particular icing topped a chocolate butter cake with raspberry filling.
