  • Mix first 6 ingredients, 1/2 tsp salt, pepper and 1 egg. Shape into 32 tiny balls; dredge with flour.
  • Bring bouillon cubes, water, tomatoes, 1 tsp salt and bay leaf to boil in a dutch oven.
  • Add meatballs and rice, cover and simmer 45 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
  • *You can also use beef broth instead of the bouillon cubs. You would need 4 cups of it.
