ingredients
- 1 cup matzo meal
- 2 tablespoons ground almonds
- 2 tablespoons chicken fat or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- kosher salt
- pepper
- 2 cups chicken soup or 2 cups broth
directions
- Mix together all ingredients.
- With wet hands, form small balls from dough. Refridgerate, freeze or use immediately.
- Drop dumplings into simmering soup and cook for 15 minutes. If using frozen dumplings, let thaw for 15 minutes first.
