    tablespoons Dutch-processed cocoa powder

    tablespoons sugar (depending on your liking)

    tablespoon flour
  • 1
    teaspoon ground coffee (fine ground is best)

  • 3
    tablespoons milk
  • 1
    tablespoon canola oil
  • 1
    large egg white
  • 1
    tablespoon Hershey's syrup
  • 14
    teaspoon vanilla
  • 1
    tablespoon hot water

DIRECTIONS

  • In microwave safe large mug mix dry ingredients.
  • Add wet ingredients, except hot water, and mix well with spoon.
  • Add hot water and stir in until incorporated scrapping bottom of mug with spoon.
  • Cook on high in microwave for 2-3 minutes. 2 minutes 30 seconds is perfect in my microwave. Cake should still look a bit wet / moist, but be cooked through. Best not to overcook.
  • Let cool a few minutes and enjoy. Add you favorite topping if you like.
