  1. Dienia, I used Oregon-made Rose Valley butter and this was delicious on French bread! Easy, too! Perfect recipe! Reviewed for ZWT 8/France.

  2. Used this to serve next to grilled corn on the cob, loved the added flavors and easy to pull together. Will be using this one again

  3. Very nice on cooked carrots! I'll have to make some more when I have good steaks in the house. I really liked the hit of lemon in this. Thanks for posting! Made for the Honeys for ZWT8

  4. Very easy, I had trouble with the 3/4 of a tablespoon though. In the US a tablespoon is 3 teaspoons. I know it's 4 teaspoons in the UK, so I'm assuming the recipe is originally from there. My butter wouldn't incorporate even the 2 t, so I let about 1/4 t drain out. Wish I had a steak to try it on because I'm sure it would be fantastic. Did taste good on my bread, but it's not the same. Thanks Dienia! Made for ZWT8 trip to France.

  5. Yummy! I spread this on a baguette and broiled it. DH loved the saltiness of it and I loved the slight lemon flavor. Thank you!

Tweaks

  1. This is good! I put a nice big pat of this on my steak and it melted into a delicious sauce. The beauty of this little gem is you can do so much with it. Next time, I will mash some roasted garlic into it for another taste, or add balsamic instead of the lemon, or stir in some parmesan cheese....the possibilites are endless.
