Lemony Sausage Poultry Stuffing

"This is a great recipe to stuff in the neck cavity of your Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey, while using a traditional bread stuffing in the main cavity. The lemon and sausage are a wonderful combination. The best part is the richness, flavor and color that it adds to the gravy."

ingredients

• 2 lbs ground sausage
• 1 teaspoon thyme
• 1 teaspoon ground sage
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons grated fresh lemon rind
• 1⁄4 cup breadcrumbs, fine
• 2 tablespoons chicken or 2 tablespoons turkey broth
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons lemon juice
